I will NOT be flying JetBlue
Thats for sure. Most of these posters don't know haw badly Beoing has been hurt by Airbus and no it's not fair trade but then it never has been with most of our trading partners.
Airbus is getting 100% of their R&D paid for by the Government with most comming from the French. Airbus Aircraft are assembled in France from components made primarily in Britain and Spain(Landing Gear).

I bet they are exaggerating how many jobs are created by Airbus suppliers. My guess these are Euro companies for the most part. They might let the US furnish safety cards in English or something like that.
I will never fly this airline that does business with our enemies and provides money to their shameful government when we have a good US company that provides a superior product. Give me Southwest anyday--a real AMERICAN company.

So you are a socialist are you? Essentially what you are saying is because the socialist EU invest money in its manufacturer that gives it a competitive edge? Me thinks this is merely an excuse by which an inefficient Boeing perpetuates it's poor business practice.
Either Boeing make a better product or they do not. To suggest Jet Blue should be obliged to make a comercial decision on some nebulous concept of nationalism is ridiculous. So youd prefer them go bust with whatever job losses that entails than buy European. I might also add that the UK makes much of the components for the Airbus, is that how you care to treat the loyalty of our comrades in arms is it? Is it? Youd rather see English people on the welfare line than compromise.

Boeing Commercial should be allowed to be spun off. John McDonnell is holding back the latest generation of airliner, so he is obstructing and taking advantage of the company.
