Wal-Mart... They don't care what, if anything, is wrong with the product, if you don't like the item for whatever reason,it's refund time. I would imagine that they have enough clout with their suppliers to get the manufacturer to take it back from them.

They do, and it is an enormous pain in the butt. I visited a factory one time where they had a guy whose full-time job was to open up the returns from Wal*Mart and throw out the ones that had no product in them. Yes, it's true, there are people in this world who will buy a product, take it out of the box, put a brick or some old books into the box, tape it back up, and then return it to Wal*Mart for full credit. They keep the product, and the manufacturer gets a box-with-a-brick, and no money. This was something like 15-20% of returns coming back from Wal*Mart. No other retailer had anything like that rate. Every other retailer at least opens the box to make sure there's something in there.

We need to dig into these claims of the U.S. content in Airbus products. With the internet, it shouldn't be too difficult.

Almost effortless, in fact. This took ten seconds.
