All I did was link to the same image, but add width and height parameters in the img tag. In the width and height I just used smaller but proportional pixel sizes.

the wren:

If you don't use height and width params that are proportional, you will get distorion, like this:

Just realize that this method links the pics from wherever they are now, so if they get moved or the owner doesn't apreciate out-linking then they might not display properly in the future. The best thing to do would be to save them and upload them to your site(after checking to be sure their owners don't assert copyright protection). If you are talking about your freeper home page, you'll have to wait until they give us disk space for that.
