If I was the DA, I would plot out a solid course of court dates. Not too fast, nor slow, and leave some run for short delays. Pending any defense difficulties to long term delay, have all the evidence ready to go. Leave no piece undone unlike the OJ case. That was dramatics Hollywood style.

Agreed, if it takes 2 years, it takes 2 years.
What do you think about a change of venue? I don't think it will get moved myself.
