I think Amber was corroborating with the police...keeping in contact with Scott but with wires on...up until 10 days ago
or so. This would explain her not being the focus of media
attention. If she was cooperating with the cops, they probably have a lot of dirt from phone conversations etc...that they made recently.

You know, sonserae, I don't understand why, after Amber's national appearance on TV, Scott would have been contacting her--unless she made the first overture by calling him (at MPD's request). Yes, there may have been contact or phone calls after that, and yes, he may be as dumb as a brick, but surely he knew she was under MPD scrutiny. Everyone in America, who was keeping up with the case, did. The phone taps were no surprise to me or anyone else. So, it just makes me wonder if they were in contact, who made the first contact? If it was Amber, then I believe that could be a problem for LE (if and when it comes out). Maybe that's why everything is so hush-hush and secret.
