Isn't that the truth! I know it was on a Friday night and i think i remember that the family Rocha family quit talking with SP after a meeting with LE on the 15th. But my memory is nice and short! :~)

Someone posted on this forum the other nite that the police were re-opening at least one of those cases ( I believe the girls last name was Smart ?) .. and that there was no proof of Scott's having dated her, but she dated a close friend of his??? I'm pretty sure that's what was posted.. anybody?

I think Amber was corroborating with the police...keeping in contact with Scott but with wires on...up until 10 days ago
or so. This would explain her not being the focus of media
attention. If she was cooperating with the cops, they probably have a lot of dirt from phone conversations etc...that they made recently.

Yes, there's been some talk that LE is checking into other missing women re: SP, though haven't heard anything in the past few days about it.

And same for the sudden departure from ASU, just rumors that it's being looked into.

Interesting, I think, that his parents say they never bothered to ask him why he left that school after such a short time...

There's a website, sonofsusan.com, I believe, that has info. on Smart case.

Looks like they have someone else in mind for this case, but no evidence, and he and his parents are uncooperative. No idea if he was friends with Scott, but one of the sites on this suspect, stated one of his classes was in restaurant management. Scott had a restaurant, but no idea if he was a classmate of this creep.

But, I too, have heard LE was going to take another look at it. One story said LE already had, and could find no connection to Scott in Smart case.
