Get out of the party you frauds. First the tax cuts, and now this. With friends like this... I am getting sick of these RINO's who think they control the party because of the slim majority. I never remember such treachery among the RATS when they held a slim majority. Time for the President to get down and dirty with these RINO RATS.

Senators Olympia Snowe and Lincoln Chaffee critized Sen. Rick Santorums comments as 'unfortunate' and said that 'they don't represent the ideals held by their party.' Two important points to be made here:
1. Santorum never claimed he was speaking for anybody but himself.
2. Snow and Chafee most DEFINITELY don't represent the Republicans.

After we win 55 plus seats in the 2004 Senate elections we won't need these frauds anymore.

"Olympia Snowe and Lincoln Chaffee" Two spineless creatures often found wobbling from side to side while attempting to walk and chew gum at the same time. This condition is enhanced by the need to use the word "unfortunate" frequently.

This whole "issue" is really through the looking glass. What is there to apologize for? Any reasonable person knows the difference between invective and intellectual analysis. Some may not like it but the dots the Senator was connecting were pretty rational. He said nothing that every sober minded legal advocate who's studied the issue hasn't brought up, including Supreme Court Justices. I admire Senator Santorum for not sacrificing his intellectual integrity at the alter of political correctness.

'dont represent party' No, what he said doesn't represent the Republican party; rather, what he said represents THE LAW OF THE LAND!
I don't think that Chaffe and Snowe (and their other lefties across the aisle) understand or even abide by the the law of the land.
These a$$-clowns need to read Justice White's opinion where he cleared stated what Senator Santorum said. He didn't comment on the veracity of homosexual sex, nor did he compare it to incest. He was saying, simply, that homosexual acts can't have explicit coverage in the consitution.
But, since we are intelligent people, let's think about this for a second. IF homosexual acts were explicitly covered, then what would happen if the homosexual act was between an adult and a minor. Now, it should be clear that this is statutory rape and any provisions to cover homosexual acts doesn't apply or is overriden.
But, is that going to stop a lawyer from citing the precedent? No, it wouldn't. They will argue equal protection for homosexuals, regardless of age. Counsel would argue that the precent protects the act itself and if it is fair for adult homosexuals, why isn't it fair for all homosexuals?
In the same regard, creating an exception to the home for this act would necessarily open up the argument that polygamy or bigamy should also be legal. Again, would a lawyer use the precedent? Of course! If then you are protecting acts that are considered morally wrong, then why don't we extend the same to a brother and sister who want to "get their freak on" (yuck!)?
No matter how you slice it (or spin it), Senator Santorum was commenting on this aspect. That this is really a Pandora's box of sorts.
Of course, that is exactly what the liberals want, the destruction of the moral fiber of this country, which they hope leads to an different form of government: socialism.

Senators Olympia Snowe and Lincoln Chaffee critized Sen. Rick Santorums comments as 'unfortunate' and said that 'they don't represent the ideals held by their party. This says more about Snowe and Chaffee than it does about Santorum. It means Snowe and Chaffee oppose free speach, even to the quotation from Supreme Court Justice White!
This is an attempt to stifle free speach in America. It is nothing less. May the enemies of Freedom and Justice in America stumble and fall!

Then I guess they find Supreme Court Justice White's statements on this issue "unfortunate" as well since that is who Santorum was quoting from. These people need to get a life...one out of the Republican party and out of office.
