" I had a choice, inhale your addiction or stop going to restaurants."

Exactly, that's your right, don't like it? GO TO A NON SMOKING RESTAURANT!

"If you want to smoke wherever you want, try going to the one country where people smoke everywhere - I'm sure you have a lot in common - with the French..."

That's OK, I wouldn't want to take your seat on your flight home.

"good. and it was Bloomberg not Pataki"

Wrong, NYS has passed a law superceding NYC, Smoking just about anywhere will be illegal July 24th. No restaurants, no bars, not even in a company car.

"now you're calling me a Nazi because I've commented on us sharing the responsibility of a healthier nation"

Then why stop there? Let's outlaw Mcdonalds, BK, Scissors, SUV's, Electricity, etc..

I love these RINO's who think they can squash your rights on the mantra that it is a so called "health issue".

It's too bad they couldn't approach these kind of issues with a little bit of balance. In my city they determined balance as declaring your establishment either "a smoking establishement" or "a non-smoking establishment".

They make it pretty apparent that their definition of "balance" is different from most.

It's just an opinion, but I think this has come from people whining about smelling smoke - whether it's harming them or not - they simlpy don't want to smell it. There are definitely worse toxins in the air that need to be controlled......
