No it's not, David. Horowitz never establishes proof for his grand proclamations, just like DeGenova.Well, there's a lot of truth in your comment. If it's not Noam Chomsky (about whom 47 people in this country might care), it's Trotskyites or Stalinists. There are times when I think David would have us believe that everything about our current political climate is somehow intimately connected to the 1960's generally and more particularly to the Oakland Black Panther party headquarters.
We have started a new century and I just don't think that our current challenges with international terrorism can be adequately understood or addressed in terms of old struggles or the terminology that accompanied those old struggles. I, too, was alive in the 1960's and it was a very intereting decade. But it's over now.

Hilarious, but true! The classic Horowitz opener: "When I was a foolish (but very, very important) Commie..." Then the Horowitz formula: apply isolated incident or remark to larger Communist conspiracy, usually by retelling an incident from 60's ("this is just like what they did on April 22, 1969") or by linking it to unrelated figures (Noam Chomsky, Lenin).
