SARS may be the biggest threat to mankind in modern history. People are reluctant to face the reality of the threat.
I am not an alarmist, but if this disease breaks out in the general population of the US, we will see the medical system overwhelmed within weeks, millions of deaths, and an unprecedented economic depression.
Perhaps the seriousness of the threat is the reason few even bother to read the SARS news. They are not ready for the fear!
