Many may indeed think that the camp is not "that dirty" and they are entitled to think so. However, they happen to be in the MILITARY. They don't have ballot boxes on bases; the only opinion that matters is that of the officer in charge. If he or she is a jerk it will usually get handled but even those types are a reality of the military - one just deals with it.
And if you think that the military is devoid individuals who act like teenagers that don't know enough to clean their rooms you don't know the military. I knew a few in the NAV who would have had to grow some to get to that level. Fortunately they were a minority - doesn't mean they didn't screw things up for all the rest of us on occasion.
