Are you being deliberately obtuse?

I have no cause to believe someone on some internet board somewhere is a witch because they say so. They could tell me they just turned their brother into a frog. Then what have we proved?

My question to you is this. You are a Christian. You believe that witches exist. You believe you know some. Why? What proof have you seen that they possess or can wield actual magic?

I have told you in no uncertain terms that I have no interest in logging in to some site somewhere to talk to people who claim to be witches. That would prove nothing. I could claim to be God. It wouldn't make it so.

I have asked you why you believed in witches, because I was mildly curious. You have given me the run-around by repeatedly pointing me to some obscure message board instead.

Jael, although we seem to be on the same side in the Harry Potter thread discussion, I'm a little concerned that you are pointing people to what you would seem to call a witches website. Aren't you essentially doing the same thing that you and I have been arguing that the Harry Potter media does (i.e, gets people interested in witchcraft)? Just wanted to point that out to you.

Why would you try to persuade someone to expose themselves to this kind of evil (which you assert is not a fiction but real) with one post when you posted earlier about the evils of going to view a fiction movie?

You're asking someone to participate, as it were, in real evil. What if someone goes over there and falls under a spell? How do we know you haven't fallen under a spell over there?

Listen, any time you want to ask them, you can log on to http://www.al.com/forums/religion/ and ask them. Some are professionals. One person who posts there is a noted occult author and occult expert. YOu can look him up on the internet.

One witch who posts there is involved in a public witch ministry.

They are not ashamed and will converse with you about their abilities and beliefs. :-)

I regret that I wasn't clearer about the witches. It isn't just some web site where a few people who could say anything hang out. I just thought that would be a good place to find a few.

Several of these people are publically involved in Witchcraft, and I know people who have met them, and I personally know a few myself.

I noticed you selectively posted things from the Harry Potter thread and left off every single post that showed Jael is a Christian who is anti witchcraft. Just one huge *coincidence*, right? ;-)

May I ask if you have read the Bible concerning witchcraft and evil? And violence? I know people that took their young children to see a movie (Harry Potter) that actually majored in violence and evil.

The movies also taught that people NOT involved in witchcraft were stupid. I can't understand a Christian parent exposing their innocent children to the anger and mayhem in Harry Potter.

I keep hearing people say "It's just fiction" as if that makes it ok to teach your children that the occult is a good thing. The hero is a witch. I know REAL witches. Let me tell you, there are no *good* witches. Not according to God.

Also, I personally reserached how children are effected by Harry Potter. One of the most interesting things I turned up was the Scholastic message board. Children were posting there, sharing with each other how Harry Potter had gotten them interested in spells and other aspects of the occult.

Please don't think that what children see doesn't effect them, and deeply. Visuals effect adults, we all know that. Even more so for children.

I am not vouching for any power they may or may not have. If they do have any, it's is from Satan, whether they realize that or not.

But they are very real.

Well..... I have met some that I thought were a tad off balance. And I have met some that operate in society just like you and I, except they are witches. They practice witchcraft.

I believe that any power that may be associated with that is Satanic. They however do not believe that Satan exist.
