Wait a minute, I'm confused. I haven't heard anyone on T.V., not Rita or anyone else, say that the police
have the concrete blocks, fishing line, etc. All I've heard is speculation that he used this?
What an idiot...didn't he realize that if the body decayed it would detach from the blocks or fishing line?
I've never thought this guy was a very bright bulb...I sure hope the cops and the prosecutor have their ducks all in a row and that this guy goes to death row.

Does anyone know if the sonar boats and divers went back out again. I would imagine that they could trace the path of the current that deposited the bodies won the shore of the park trail back to the "anchored" area. I haven't heard any reference to more activity out there, but that would be great if they have it all!

IMO, I think police found the cement blocks with legs attached. I read they used a tibia bone for DNA. Since most articles state the body was missing the legs, they would have had to find the legs in order to do this.
If they found the cement blocks and they have the molds, they could prove the blocks were made from that mold. I could be wrong, but I seem to recall that leg bones were used (muscle & bone marrow)from both the mother & baby.
