On second thought...why would this LA station have it first? Not a network affiliate, is it??? (I know you know telecommunications) Wasn't it previously reported that he had moved to Southern California? Perhaps that's where they arrested him and the TV station has a source at LAPD.

KFI am Los Angeles often has news first. They were first to report Robert Blake arrest, too. I was living in LA and listening to KFI at the time. I think it is 650 am.
