It sure saddens me to think that the DCPD refused the help of the Modesto PD when Chandra was missing...her story may have had an entirely different ending. Or should I say, Gary Condit's story would have.

DCPD refused the help of the Modesto PD

MPD chief sent a message to DC in his remarks last night, about cooperation and how it leads to success.

I think that it got political. Remember that Gary Condidit's brother works/worked for the MPD? I made the trek out to Modesto a few times to hang out with FReepers in front of Condidit's office....

DD - what was the story on that?
