To you and me that would be a horrible thing to have to watch. To Scott, I'm not so sure. It's like he is removed from reality or dead or something. I don't think it would bother him at all but if he thought it could help him, I'm sure he could put on an act.
I thought of a phrase that shrinks use, which I think describes what he looks like now:
Flattened affect: lack of emotion
Just now doing a google search, I see that it's a characteristic of schizophrenia. Great. I hope he's not working on some sort of defense like that.
I also heard his criminal atty is one of the best in North Cal., didn't catch his name earlier, but a Stanford grad, 30-some years of defense under his belt.
But this lack of emotion SP's got going on may point to some underlying troubles unless he's faking it. I'm sure there'll be psych consults done on this guy.
