Well, the local police in the other case (from college) determined that the deceased girl's boyfriend (Paul Flores) was the most likely perpetrator. However, not enough evidence to charge or convict (of course). One correction: the deceased was not Scott's girlfriend.

The fact is that Scott Peterson abruptly left a scholarship at this university and came home to his parents, where he continued his education at a local school.

Makes one wonder if the local police in the other case did not dig hard enough.........Her name was Kristen Smart. :(

Thanks for the correction .. I thought I heard they were dating

OK .. so why would the media relate Scott to Kristen Smart .. did he know her at all?

I believe that this was at ANOTHER university--Univ. of AZ....had heard/read that he was there for one semester and left abruptly to return home....and that his parents didn't even know for sure why he'd come home. This was different that the school he was at with the K. Smart connection. And just because the police/private eyes cannot find a link between him and K. Smart, doesn't mean there isn't one! I hope they're looking at this very, very, very, VERY close!
