Is that a joke?
I guess nobody was buying Scott's sh*t anymore. (Pun intended.)

when they changed the status, from missing to homicide, they said Laci was the victim of a violent crime. I don't remember what talk show I heard this on, but they ( I don't even remember who ), I was on an important phone call at the time, but they said it was leaked that vomit was found on the mop in their home , which leads them to believe it was possible she was punched in the stomach to cause that reaction.

Weed barrier. Good thought. The width, length, and color might fit.

If a fetus 8 months old is seen by the media as a "baby" or "child" how is it that an abortion in that month leads to an "aborted fetus"? Liberal logic. If an eight month old fetus is killed by the father, it's murder, but if a ninth month old fetus is killed by partial birth abortion, it's a choice.

Did he have a big insurance policy on Laci, does anybody know? Money could be the motive. Because he could have just divorced her and walked away.

I caught something on "On the Record" where someone said that the only thing that will save Scott Peterson from the death penalty is if he can provide information on Kristin? Smart as a trade-off. I had no idea what he was talking about, I hadn't heard about this angle.

>>You know, the late socialist novelist Theodore Dreiser wrote a two-part novel about a case similar (but less flamboyant) than this one. In "An American Tragedy" Dreiser seemed to blame the capitalist system for fostering a climate in which a man would feel compelled in that case for financial reasons to murder his pregnant girlfriend. Wasn't the character named Clyde Griffiths? Was the movie role played by the late Montgomery Clift?<<
The movie was named "A Place in the Sun." Shelly Winters was the obnoxious pregnant girlfriend. Elizabeth Taylor played the beautiful socialite girlfriend Montgomery Clift falls in love with after impregnating Shelly Winters. Monty took care of the Shelly problem by renting a boat, and rowing out to the middle of an empty lake and beating her over the head with the boat oar. He did get caught eventually and was executed for the murder.

DEBKA reported that Scott was sighted in Mexico.
No, that was MEXKA. DEBKA reported Scott with Iranian Revolutionary Guards at the secret Russian ICBM bases in the Afghani Hindu Kush. HINDUKA reported Scott hidden around Pakistan by the ISI, and professed astonishment that the US did not nuke every Pakistani city therefore. FRANCKA pointed out that harassment of Scott was unsophisticated because he had a mistress, and these matters are better left alone.
Thanks Shermy...I can always count on you for a good laugh

There is a golf course there, by the way, Overconfidence bred by success in the first case? Those are my exact thoughts.

Found this on courttv.com;
Boat grounds keeper saw scott pulling boat out at 1230-1245
not enough time to fish in that time
recognized the boat and truck because the trailer was smaller than other boats usually there
nobody goes that far to fish that long
he saw SP smile

HILARIOUS story!!!!!
I remember a street party in New Orleans once, and you could hear through a window, someone playing a record. The song was "I Can't Get Started", by Bunny Berrigan, I think. (Old song, from 30's or 40's.) One of its lines is: "I've been consulted by Franklin D. ...."
This old man who was standing there looked up with his cup of beer in hand and muttered, "Yeah, I been insulted by that b-----d, too!"

Unemployed? Fertilizer salesman in Stanilaus County, inquire at Modesto Bee classifieds.
Would seem to be a well paying job !

I know, I couldn't believe that!! I thought lightening had struck or something, and that Judgment Day might be imminent!

"It amazes me how he almost did things to LOOK guilty, you'd think he'd at least have tried to "pretend" innocence!
Psychologists might say he wanted to get caught. I think he was daring LE to catch him never thinking they could. There is a signifigant difference between the two...IMHO...

The least you people could do would be to go easy on a poor widower who's also lost his little son.

I've heard that, too.
And there are plenty of people who have repeatedly said that having a baby was her current goal in life, that she wanted more than anything to become a mother. And she'd already named the baby.
Yeah, boy, suicide--NOT!

A $250,000 insurance policy? The maggot! That explains it!
He should get the death penalty -- for the murder of TWO human beings.

"AG of Ca said that he knew that he was being followed...he waved, gestured and laughed at the police, the police decided to pull him over and arrest him." I wish I could see his laugh leave his face when the police hit the lights. He probably had to change his underwear.
