Oops, sorry, I neglected to answer back.
Were you looking at Protestantism and Catholicsim at the same time on an equal footing or going from one to another?
I was raised RCC and got saved and about two years later went to an evan Chr church.
By the way, I forget where this other thread was, but let me comment on a topic from 2-3 days ago.
I think there are HUGE differences between Mormonism and RCCism. Now, I must say that some of the things are similar, but the biggest difference is that I can probably wanl into a Catholic church and feel somewhat confident that most of the people there will be worshipping the same Jesus as I do every Sunday in my own church.
I can't say the same thing if I were in an LDS church. There are just too many differences in how they understnad who Jesus is.

I've never been to an LDS church. I don't know all that much about their theology or beliefs. They do, however, live very upright and moral lives. Don't even drink coffee, from what I understand.
