Fuller also maintains that the nursery rhyme incident caused her to be bedridden for three days because she suffered a "grand mal seizure." Yeah, I bet when the 1st of the month rolls around, you'll roll your lazy ass right out of bed and go to the post office.
People like this really sicken me, always looking for an easy way to get money. What ever happened to actually working for a living!?
...I am offended that because I have white skin, suddenly I am a racist," Cundiff wrote. "Maybe those that run around pointing fingers yelling racist should stop and turn that finger around."
You tell 'em, girl! Don't give in to their blackmail.

One of the two women suing over the allegedly offensive nursery rhyme claims hearing the rhyme caused her to be bedridden for three days and suffer from "unexplained memory gaps," according to court documents.Coulda been the nursery rhyme, could have been the crack.
No way to tell.

I guessing the seizure happened right after the lawyer called and mentioned the out-of-court settlement. "I'm coming to join ya, Elizabeth".

Last election year, trial lawyers gave $15,000,000 to the democratic party and $13,500 to the republicans. It takes one to defend one.

It was probably the assumption that the woman was on Welfare.

So, ASSUMPTIONS are now subjected to being racist? I assume the chicken came before the egg....my racist apologies to the egg, of course.

Funny, on "Celebrity Mole" a few months ago, I saw a black person using this same nursery rhyme when trying to decide who the mole was. Odd.

Sawyer and Fuller said that as soon as they heard the rhyme, they were reminded of the racist version So now, when someone says something, you overhear it and are reminded of something else, you can sue the speaker!
You know, when Clinton mentioned in his last speech that America's economy needs to be addressed, I was reminded of those years of poverty and pain from the Dustbowl and the Great Depression, and I suddenly got so sad and felt such a strong wave of sympathy for those Americans, that I was bed-ridden for several days. In fact, I don't remember entire periods of that time (probably because I was asleep, but who's to say??). My lawyer shall be contacting Mr Clinton in the near future.

OK, assuming black people are on Welfare ISN'T racist. I made it up.

Bigots like you prove her point. Excuse Me!? Bigots like me? My racial background contains a healthy mix of Indian (Native American), White (Anglo-Saxon), and Negro (African American). I have black aunts and uncles, and I'm the Godfather of my cousin's mulatto (1/2 & 1/2) son. I make my assumption because I've seen these kind of people before, we all have. Always looking for an easy angle to collect a 'check'.

How can one be liable for what another person's
imagination can conjure up as an insult out of something you said?
Are we now required to metally revue and edit every utterance and cleanse it of everything that may not be politically correct?
This is being stretched farther every time, to the point where everyone should be catching on.
To: Pern
Can you say "frivolous lawsuit"? Look behind the thin skin of these hypersensitive passengers and you will probably find some very slick lawyers, working on contingency, guaranteeing them a split of the big bucks that the airline will probably pay in order to get this "nuisance suit" to go away.
Jessie Jackson has a patent on this kind of shakedown, folks. If there's any money to be made here, he'll want his cut.

Bigots like you prove her point. You have no idea what she does for a living. What an incredibly racist statement on your part.
He speculated that she might be on welfare, because she has demonstrated behavior (a totally frivolous lawsuit) that is indicitive of that sort of lifestyle.
But you, being a racist, associate blacks with welfare. You're a bigot, as well as a hypocrit.
