I also don't recall seeing any prominate minorities on the BBC.Best thing to come out of the BBC other than Doctor Who and Monty Python. The original cast of three included the two black actors.

My error. I guess I don't watch enough of the BBC.

Will & Grace have scarcely featured on African-Americans' radar. I respect their radar, if that's the case.

What's really interesting about this addition is, I still won't be watching that program. Does anyone really watch that TV show? I can't imagine why...... LOL

"Those are done by 19th Century Fox."
LOL You're quoting Tim Robbins? I have to say, he sounded as though he were trying to do Shakespear when he gave this little schpiel the other day.

The best part of "Chef!" was his wife, Janice. She was classy and funny at the same time.

If I could talk to the author of this article I would tell him that the racial makeup of the cast doesn't bother me. I have watched shows without the first white person in a major role. What I don't like is watching shows that always have to make The Man the source of all problems in life. BTW, I've noticed that some all-minority programs do feature whites in their cast......as the bufoons.

Uhh...didn't Ross date/marry an Asian girl earlier in the series? Yup, "Julie" (I think) was a recurring character. The author's premise is bogus.

One of my favorite shows of all time is Sanford and Son. I'd watch it over Friends any day. In fact, I HATE Friends. And I'm white.
