Actors are not "artists", they have a product to sell - themselves. If a company like GM came out against the war then they could reasonably expect to have patriotic citizens refusing to buy their products. The same applies to actors - citizens can refuse to buy their performances (products). However, if Mr. Robbins wants to put some "skin in the game" and truly be listened to and followed then he needs to run for office.
