I think that the most compelling films would be the PFC Jessica Lynch story or the story of the other rescued POW's and those who rescued them. I think the story of Richard Engle, Pretty Chicken Live at the Palestine would by a rip roaring comedy!

Someone on Fox said there was already a title for the Jessica Lynch story. "I am an American soldier, Too." As to the Pretty Chicken story, I could not judge, because I am soooo sloooow I could not tie up the bandwidth with BagCam. I regret that a lot.

If the rescue of Jessica Lynch is made into a movie, it must include all of the details and not end with getting her on that helicopter. They must include the finding of the bodies of the others and the digging up with their hands and retrieving them so they could be brought home. It must. I would think a prominent part of the movie would cover the Iraqi lawyer, "Mohammad", who risked it all, and the Iraqi doctor that helped.

I would like to see this: A "Longest Day" sort of approach. One story line Pvts. Lynch and Piestewa. One of the journalists. A line of the race to Baghdad, either a tank or the 3rd LAR of the first Marines. A little bit of flying, and fighting in an Apache. Toss in a little of the Brits in Basra. And a vignette on how a coordinated bombing attack is made on a presidential palace. The only thing missing would be John Wayne as Gen. Tommy Franks.

If we didn't have a T1 line at work, I wouldn't have seen it either. I have dial-up and home and I would suffer withdrawl at night and on the weekends.

He was such a dope! Always whining because his hair wasn't right. Putting his vest on just for the camera. I always imagined him screaming like Ned Flanders (high pitched womans scream in case you're not a Simpsons fan) when the bombs were really dropping one Friday afternoon.
