I in no way meant NOT to talk about Jennifer Eccleston, here or anywhere. Or anytime. OH! I am really sorry! I COMPLETELY misread your post. {hanging my head in shame} Sometimes... okay, ALOT of times, I am not quick.

Great work sitroom grunts. This has become the most definitive second by second recap of the war anywhere on the web. I decided to jump in now that it has slowed down to ask a question of the regular posters.
If you were in charge of Wankerwood, and were told to make a movie, what aspect of the war would you put in the can?
Here are some thoughts:
The mad dash of the 2nd Brigade of the 3rd ID, following the exploits of just one tank crew. It is named "Courtesy of the Red White and Blue". The Greg Kelly outfit with Col Perkins in charge.Lots of real footage and good characters all over the place.
The Jessica Lynch Story.
The POW story.
The Tommy Franks Story.
The Specops adventures.
Stories from the Palistine Hotel, including lots of BagCam views ;>).
The stories of the pinups of Free Republic.
More?

Entertainment Tonight (OK, I watch it) has done an interview with her to promote the thing, and viewers will be reminded that Monica is NOT a rocket scientist. Does anyone really need to be reminded of this? LOL! I think this show might be interesting if the guys were all varying degrees of hideously ugly.

Charles Grassley cut a deal to limit the tax cut to no more than 350 Billion and Frist allowed it..
They say Chaney is PISSED he went to the Senate last Friday to vote in a tie breaker and found out what Grassley had done...
It seems Grassley sandbagged everyone..

The GOP rebellion is aimed at Bill Frist.. I missed the lead up to the part of the story where Dick Cheney appeared to cast a tie breaking vote on Monday, only to find out the Charles Grassley had brokered some secret deal........What the heck was going on---do you mind giving the main points?
The Senate better get their act together.

The GOP rebellion is aimed at Bill Frist.. Who according to that Fox report has a one way ticket to Korea.
We all lost out on a larger taxcut due to his screw-up?
To: cyncooper
Frist is out of the country and it seems Grassley cut a deal...
Unfreaking real!

You gotta ask yourself, how did Betty Grable feel about being selected as WW 2s favorite Pinup? And will Belly Girl feel the same?

The musings of Belly Girl LMAO!! "Uumm...should I wear the low rise or the ultra low rise?? Hhmmm...."
When I saw "Wankerwood" immediately, "Hooray for Wankerwood!" started going through my head.
I think that the most compelling films would be the PFC Jessica Lynch story or the story of the other rescued POW's and those who rescued them. I think the story of Richard Engle, Pretty Chicken Live at the Palestine would by a rip roaring comedy!

I was reading a news article post (I don't remember where) of a administrative source saying Condi Rice's advice to President Bush on those 3 main countries giving us fits in the UN was six words "punish France, ignore Germany, forgive Russia". She does have a way with words.
To: Aaron0617
Frist blew it..
Grassley got rolled by Snowe and another REP Senator.......and now the whole tax cut is in doubt......because Lindsey Graham said he won't support such a small tax cut.
This is a royal mess.

Do I really gotta ask that? I just want to hear her views on, uh, current events. Or something like that. I really just appreciate her for her fine mind.
To: retrokitten
Does anyone really need to be reminded of this?It will remind those who may have residual respect (I can't imagine, but there it is) for clinton, that he picked her to mess around with. Haha. It reflects worse on him than her, really, and I'm delighted that she'll be getting a bit of the limelight so that chapter is not cast as "long ago and far away".
Good, roundtable slamming clinton rightly, for his bashing wrongly of Bush.
Yay!!! He's a trashy individual is the pronouncement.
See? Monica re-emerging in the public conciousness will add to that trashy image.
Roundtable to discuss the museum after break.

Oh, I thought of another one. There was a story a few days ago about a wounded soldier or Marine who was sworn in as an American citizen. His life story would probably be very interesting, also.

I have a problem with certain areas of the "progress" in the war. Tonight on ABC Nightly News, Brian Ross was in Uday's house with a former CIA head and ?Gallagher? going through documents. Unbelievable what was laying around. One was a photo of the "human shredder" and documents of who was killed this way. WHERE ARE OUR SpecOps, CIA operatives and Special Forces. I don't believe we had the 10,000 in the country that was rumoured. Maybe not even 100.

Roundtable to discuss the museum after break. Is that one of the participants in All My Children's "First Ever Lesbo Kiss," all grown up??? What a hog...

I see your details now on the Senate business.
I'm ticked, too. What is Grassley's problem?
OK, the museum business up for discussion.
Brit asks if "really, did it happen?" and reads from archaeology magazine about the museum personnel being trained to move stuff within 24 hours of war, and it was 3 weeks from the beginning of the war until the alleged looting of the museum. Then Brit adds the accounts about some items being fakes.
