President Bush discussed the economy with small business owners today at the White House, and later held a small briefing in the Rose Garden. Bush called on Congress to pass his tax cut proposal to help stimulate the economy. The President also took the opportunity to discuss the war in Iraq and praised the work of the soldiers who have helped the Iraqi people achieve freedom. Also today, the President signed a proclamation commemorating the 35th Anniversary of the Fair Housing Act. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Thank you, DrDeb!! He's got a whale of a headache, stitches on his eye and his lip, and two cracked front teeth, but he'll be on his way to Hamburg, Germany in a few hours where he'll be with a family who has already set up some medical appointments for him to make sure he's really OK.

God is faithful, and He is with us, protecting us wherever we go......even among the bad guys!

He has been in many countries setting up Police Academy's as well as training people to take his place in places like Bosnia, Turkey, Georgia, Kosovo, Greece, Yemen, Ne Paul, Kashmire, Uzbekastan, Turkmanistan and others in just the past 5 years.

No! That was my Son-in-Law, He has decided not to re-join the Marines, But he might not have a choice now. He got notice last friday to be prepared to be called back up. When he was in the Marines he was in whats called "Force Security" and his training is perfect for peace keeping deployments, so I won't be surprized if my Daughters husband will be called up

Yeah......talk about a lesson in God's provision in a time of need. A Christian College with an English speaking, American professor who took care of him, and gave him a dorm bed to sleep in and start to recover, and a cousin in an exchange student program in Germany staying in a family with both a doctor and a dentist connection.

I would say he will head for Texas for the Easter weekend. He has the last two years so I doubt he will stay in the DC area.

As we speak, my brother is in Nepal (Sp?) I got an email from him saying he was heading back tomorrow and going to be briefed on his next mission in Baghdad, Takrit and possibly Basra. The bad part is that he was just diagnosed with a heart problem and ordered to stop smoking by the doctors, he might have to have a procedure done like Dick Cheney had done (a stint placed in an artery) before long
