Saddam Hussein's favorite TV talking head, CBS multimillionaire Dan Rather, is in a snit over Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld's comment that reporters are giving an exaggerated picture of looting and lawlessness in Iraq.
"I try to be an honest reporter, be an honest broker of information. And it's my judgment that if Secretary Rumsfeld had been here, he might have worded that at least in a somewhat different way," Rather complained to fellow traveler Larry King last night on CNN.
And we all know how honest and impartial Dan Rather is ...

Dan Rather is now even less relevant than France.
I'm sorry but nobody cares what he thinks, does or says.

Danny has never been fair and impartial. I'm amazed that he finishes dressing in the morning without both shoes on his left foot!

Considering that he was on CNN, you would think that Dan would have refrained from bringing up the subject of honesty.

Rummy is one of the best we've got. As much as I love Dan Rather, he has no right to publicly announce that the government is wrong. That's exactly what we don't need! In a time of war we need for people to band together and support our country, and our troops right or wrong! He should be thanking god that he has the right as a US citizen to a freedom of speach and instead he's cursing the government and one it's best figures.

Yea, Rather is the epitome of objective...

Rather is also the same kneepad worshipper who was quoted gushing to Mr. and Mrs. Rapist over the phone about how "wonderful" they were, and if only he could be as wonderful as they are.....

I try to be an honest reporter, be an honest broker of information. The operative word is, of course, "try".

Rather doesn't like Rumsfeld's offense par terre!!

I heard that when this picture was taken, Rather had his shoes of and was caressing Saddam's inner thigh with his stocking feet.

Christianne Amampour is emblematic about everything that's wrong with CNN. She is 100% reliable in painting the United States in the most unfavorable light possible.
Christianne also needs to do something about that five o'clock shadow---she's been mistaken for Oday Hussein several times.
LOL

"I try to be an honest reporter, be an honest broker of information..."Bravo Sierra! My late Father was a PIO in Viet Nam in 1969. He tried to provide this pissant with stories about our troops helping the local Vietnamese and Rather refused them because they didn't portray the war in a negative slant. Dad accused him of being a Communist and he responded, "Maybe I am, Jack, but as long as I am bureau chief, the American People are only going to see this war the way I want them to see it!"
Rather, you are a lying sack of pond scum. You belong in one of Saddam's cells, getting the full treatment!

I try to be an honest reporter, be an honest broker of information = I try to be an anti-American reporter, be an anti-Republican broker of disinformation

Ahh! That Danny, what he could do with those curled toes. When he was done, I did not even want to stone him for being prostitute."
