Iraqi On CIA Payroll Aided In US POW Lynch Rescue - CNN
NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--The rescue of former U.S. prisoner of war Jessica Lynch from an Iraqi hospital was aided by information provided by an Iraqi paid by the Central Intelligence Agency, CNN reported Tuesday.
The Iraqi, who's identity was not provided, carried a concealed video camera and taped entry and exit points as well as the room in which Lynch was held before U.S. soldiers carried out their rescue, CNN reported. Intelligence already had been received pointing to the existence of a U.S. POW at the hospital.
The ensuing rescue was carried out by U.S. Navy SEALS, with protection from U.S. Army Rangers, CNN reported.
Lynch now is recovering from numerous bone fractures and possible gunshot wounds at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center near Washington, D.C.

We'll probably be getting the truth in dribs and drabs for a while.Nice compilation of sources.
I'm just thankful CNN had no foreknowledge of this.

Well, CNN was too busy pretending they didn't know where Pfc Lynch was, and how she was to be tortured.

I hate CNN.Plus, I don't believe them.

Wow, according to that load of crap you posted, the Iraqi army was only trying to care for Lynch, left her unguarded, and never abused her.

From reading the more extensive article posted later on this thread, it looks like he and the CIA operative might have been two different people (even though he scouted the hospital, just as the CIA guy did, which seems odd). Maybe they are publicizing him for propaganda value.

Wow, according to that load of crap you posted,
I'm not endorsing the story as posted, I hardly read it. I just went to Google News and grabbed any other sources for cross-referencing on this thread.
To: Sabertooth
I know, I apologize if my research implied otherwise. I was making no comment on your post, or I wasn't trying to make a comment about your posting. I just recognized the guy's name from another recent BS article of his I read. I just wanted you and others to know he has a definite agenda.

From following your posts, I didn't really think you endorsed it, and it was an interesting take on the matter.
However, I still think I accurately described it.

"There are two faces to Americans," Dr Harith said. "One is freedom and democracy, and giving kids sweets. The other is killing and hating my people." He is confusing hate with business. There is no hate being shown towards the Iraqis. War is conducted in a business like manor. Not everyone is going to be treated like a frail 80 yr old women or 8 yr old boy.
What he is experiencing is the American way. You mess with us (like Saddam did), you will get what this man is seeing...some kind people who are giving and love freedom, and he will also see some determined, mean-ass justice seeking mo-fo's kicking people's dixs in the dirt (excuse my language, but its the simple truth).
This man should remember this and remember it was these same people who released Saddams grip from his throat.

Cool, glad we cleared that up. I agree, Parry's article is a bit twisted.
To: BunnySlippers
This is a horrible breach of security, that CNN was able to obtain this information. The CIA should deny it, whether true or not and then find out who leaked the information to the Communist News Network.

Do you suppose someone in the CIA was jealous of Military Intelligence or whoever handled Mohammed getting all the attention?
Re the Doctor's story- much the same report, without the slanted last part appeared under a different byline in the Daily Telegraph- not a paper known for opposition to the war to say the least..
The doctor is no doubt BS'ing us a bit (or a lot)- as it seems are most people in this matter- but why should we doubt he cared for Pfc Lynch as best he could, given the state of the hospital at the time. After all the poor kid was being fed intravenously by the USA doctors for a week or so, so there was obviously some problem with her digestion.
Do you suppose he might be the Doctor friend in the Mohammed story?
