Something I've been wondering about, do you recall hearing/reading something about a Patriot Missile crew being on the losing end of a battle a few days ago?

There was one incident where a Patriot missile battery was taken out by a coalition jet, but the fellows manning the battery were either not injured at all, or injured slightly. I don't recall the date, would guess it to be late March, before the 'silkworm' missile hit the mall in Kuwait City.

Here's a link -- one post in the link touches on your question. I haven't found a link that describes more about the incident (date, exact location, etc.)

F-18 Hornet hit by Patriot Missile <-- Link

Reports last week indicated a Patriot battery was successfully engaged by a USAF F-16CJ near the Kuwait/Iraq border. The Patriot system locked onto the F-16, which countered by firing a High Speed Anti-Radiation (HARM) missile in defense. 35 posted on 04/03/2003 10:09 PM EST by XHogPilot
