If dems try to impeach GWB the egg will be on their faces so bad they will never recover. Let them try,,Bush will not be embarassed, no way.Very true UNLESS Bush does what Eagleburger is warning against....and something goes terribly wrong for the US.

Where and when have they mentioned this? (The Dems and impeachment.) It's certainly news to me. I think if the Dems are talking about it, they'd only do it if they thought Republicans would join them, and they'll only think Republicans will join them if people like Eagleburger continue to talk like this.
I'm pretty shocked. I think he's a loose cannon. There's no grounds for "impeachment." If we go into Syria it will only be in connection with the current Iraq action, and will obviously be justified. It would also be a limited action, to get certain people or things out of that country.
In any case, Syria is already in Israel's cross-hairs, and we have obviously delegated some of this to Israel, since this is the first " warning" Israel has been permitted to give in that area.
I still think it was unwise of Eagleburger to make a statement like that. He was part of the administration that did not go far enough in Gulf War I, and I think he may be trying to justify this, to some extent.

Do you see what's going on by that truck in the lower center of the screen? With the man by it? It was one that lite up when the boom happened is why I'm asking.
Also...is it stormy weather over there? The booms could be thunder if that's the case.

Coming home for a well-earned rest - troops on the USS Constellation, USS Kitty Hawk and F-117A Nighthawk Stealth Fighters (including those responsible for the "targetted opportunity" first strikes on Mar.19th (that some of us think took out Saddam).

This is my second best experience on FR,,the first was the great Recount, surely the experience of my life. I love Freepers, their humor, intelligence, heart and knowledge. It has been a lifesaver to hang out here and hear what is going on and the commmentary. I guess we will meet at the next crises. Sniff,,sniff,,,sniff.

John Conyers (D-MI) and former U.S. Attorney General Ramsey Clark have publically called for impeachment, as in
this article.

I came here to learn more so I could deal with 'friends' and students when the war started....
I got so much more than I bargained for (I mean that in a very postive way)....
Thanks everyone.
