Bush and Blair, and the coalition and even Israel and Turkey are putting the screws to Assad. There is more than one way to accomplish an objective, and coordinating pressure is one. Our President is patient and measured, just as you said. He was in Afghanistan and he was in this Iraq action too.
The left can spin this for all it's worth and it still won't turn out to be what they are trying to project.

"We have the Americans cornered, we will bury them here in Damascus."
"It's all an illusion, they are nowhere near here."
"We gave them yesterday hell."
Those are classics for sure. Especially "We gave them yesterday hell."

" Valuables.."
The whole museum thing was a set-up and a cover-up. Looters do not destroy museum catalog records; that's what thieves with something to hide do. All the employees there were people in the good graces of Saddam. One of the curators even said (in a magazine interview, if I recall correctly), that the really valuable items had already been stored in " safekeeping" about 6 months ago in case war broke out.
Personally, I think the " valuables" had been sold on the illegal art market by the Saddam regime months if not years ago, and that the looting gave the museum personnel an opportunity to cover it up.
We shouldn't be too eager to take responsibility for things that are not our fault. Maybe stopping to argue about the details is not the thing to do right now, but to me, the whole " Baghdad art museum treasures" thing smells, and I think it should be clear that there are questions about this.
If nothing else, if some works actually were stolen by locals, asking questions would guarantee that the stuff would turn up on the doorstep of the museum tomorrow. And if had already been stolen and sold by Saddam, it's going to make it a lot harder for corrupt dealers to move them in the future.

He also said that we should be bombing the terror camps in Lenanon, etc. His impeachment remark is a friendly warning because there are Democrats right now as we speak who are trying to impeach Bush (Conyers, et al). Even a failed vote on impeachment would be very embarassing for Bush.

If he's on our side, he shouldn't be insipring the Democrats. Maybe he's just a failed strategist, but I hadn't heard of "impeachment" until Eagleburger brought it up. However, I can bet the Dems will haul it out tomorrow at the latest, now that they've heard this silly man make this unwise statement.

Here's how they do a "shower":
What a gorgeous photo! The composition, the lighting...incredible.

Why does the photo remind me of this:
"I'm gonna wash that man right out of my hair, I'm gonna wash that man right out of my...and send him on his way."

...I hadn't heard of "impeachment"...The Dems have been looking into impeachment for a while now. Ealgeburger is reminding us.

I did a google and found quite a few news sites that reported that very thing.

If dems try to impeach GWB the egg will be on their faces so bad they will never recover. Let them try,,Bush will not be embarassed, no way. Maybe Eagle is encouraging it in sort of a covert action.

But for Eagle to even utter the impeachment word is sort of like yyour maid of honor at your wedding telling the groom that you may be a slut,,,it is unforgivable.
Anyone else watching the bagcams?

Our soldiers found that big ole Saddam head we last saw being dragged through the streets:
U.S. soldiers walk past the decapitated statue head of Saddam Hussein placed on a street sign and dressed in used clothing and a garbage bag on Monday.
LOL!
