"Boycotters are welcome to keep giving me tons of publicity," she dared before reiterating, "There will be no apologies." Oh, really? Well, Susan Saranden and the DitsieDixie Chicks thought that too. So far, I count two cancellations for events where Saranden was to speak, and, according to one recent report, a 40% drop in CD sales for the Ditsies. I think Ms. Garafolo just made a major miscalculation.
It's not as though she's a "major talent" anyway.

I believe her show will be DOA. One thing that has always confused me is how people in the entertainment industry seem to go out of their way to alienate the public. The fact that she had a show in production ready for release in the near future would seem to make a person try to attract people rather than anger them. As Michael Savage said on his show yesterday, and I paraphrase, "the leftist mindset is a type of mental disorder". I believe that he is on to something there.

Don't forget Sean Penn. He supposedly was dropped from what would have been the highest paying movie of his career.
There was a verbal agreement but no contract - I believe it was supposed to have been for $8 million.
But like someone said on Hannity's radio show - he and George Clooney don't have to worry; they can go to Iraq and do an Arab version of "Dumb and Dumber".
