I've got my TV running all day with the sound off, just in case... If I hadn't turned it on when I got up the other day to see what had happened overnight, I would have missed the statue... I'll never forget this past month, that's for sure.

Personally I just can't believe that day 21 was one day I decided to really "tune in" to the live thread here...and was one of the luckies who saw all that amazing stuff from before the beginning to the end. Amazing!

I just keep thanking God we have adults in the White House again who are addressing problems with concrete solutions and not blinking because of polls or "bad global PR" (like anything we do short of killing ourselves will improve our global PR with most of these jackasses).

Tangent: Wish we wouldn't shy away so much from the idea of a Japan-style rebuilding. Why should we shrink from that? It WORKED! Incredibly well!
