Well, as I said before, CNN has less embeds because the military (this is just my take on things) doesn't trust them as much...they tout this as giving them more "unbiased" coverage...but if this was a gamble to improve CNN's ratings, I would say it would start with Sadler gambling with his own life to get the scoop on Tikrit...hat's off to him, still praying for him.
CNN now boasting again about "unilateral journalists", by the way, if you want proof of what I was saying about their embed spin...

Interesting ethical question, was CNN right to encourage Sadler's trip by carrying it live? If he gets away OK, they look like heroes. But how does CNN look if he is killed? Seems a bit different than the calculated risk of riding along with the troops.
I'm not certain I have an opinion myself yet, just raising the issue.
