A couple of the surviving convoy members said they were attacked while traveling on the correct road. Which is correct?
somewhere I read that they did not take a wrong turn. They had stopped to repair their vehicle -when they got behind. Since they were now isolated from the convoy this made them a target. I believe they were replacing an oxygen sensor and psbly a fuel pump ? Something along those lines.
