Slimeball should be grateful that the soldier didn't drop his drawers and rub his a** on Saddams nose. Some of us would have defended that action by the soldier.

I was just reading this thread about possible chem warhead find at Kirkut:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/891773/posts

Started to think about a story I read about a month ago that the chemical weapon components deteriorate in about a month unless they are refrigerated. Then recalled the barrels buried full of "pesticide" in Naseriah. Chemically, there is very little difference, apparently, between "pesticide" and "nerve gas"...

Now I'm wondering whether these "barrels" are actually deteriorated "nerve gas" or possibly some type of agent which could be a "binary nerve gas" if in combination with something less conventional...

Interesting train of thought that I hope the DOD is following...

I thought the same thing, but how could he get on TV if he didn't look like Uday?

I'll bet when demand for his presence on TV falls, he'll grow his hair out.

This CNN parody is strange. Is he deliberately blowing his cues or is this laughter part of the script??

CNN: A whole bunch of civilian-garbed men are just walking south from Tikrit, not carrying anything. Sadler says they look a lot like the soldiers he's seen walking away from the fight in other areas.

doesn't sound like the smartest bunch, I've been wondering if the Iraqi's weren't sold crap each time they went to the chemical weapons store. The finds keep turning out to be imitations. So it seems.

TV producer...host...lots of stuff....

my friends and I changed TV for all time back in the 70's......do you know why all the news shows went to having "control room" sets years ago?

It was because they saw us doing it on local TV in Manhattan.....every week we did another new show and the networks, based in NYC, used to take our ideas and use them.......

I can remember doing a skit on Julia Child as "the Crocked Cook" and two weeks later it was on Sonny and Cher....

Oh yeah, the news set.....well, we had no money and the studio was bare, the only thing that was there to use as a backdrop was the stuff in the control room, so we spun the cameras around and sat in front of them......

Imagination often takes the place of money......

Actually, we had to be creative because we had no cash, but for a while in 1973-75 there was nothing that could touch us......we even pioneered "adult" programming...and the use of ratings to warn for content

You see, in the early days of cable TV in NYC, Manhattan cable, (now Time-Warner, same building, 120 east 23rd) used the technicians from HBO to run their tapes.....well.....

I had always felt when you saw that travel ad with the babe on the beach, they were really selling you the girl, not the vacation: SEX. soooooo I thought why not just eliminate the pretenses and just offer the sex.....

Our first show was called "Framed In Film", a game show, where you watched a clip and then rang your buzzer and called out the name.....well, we used "loops", (very hard core) for the game, and the commercials...

We put a disclaimer on the show that said, "the following show is seriously rated X, if you don't want to see it, don't watch"...we never thought they would air the show, but the technician bought the disclaimer and ran it, and for the next 13 weeks all hell broke loose in NYC, and TV was changed for all time.

I was a lot of fun....we did a lot of things that became mainstream TV

p.s. not to take anything away from your theory. It's extremely valid.

...well, that helmet girl, you like to call her is a very deadly girl indeed. From the gear she is wearing, she is either a helicopter pilot or a helicopter gunner. She is pretty allright but I do not want to met her under that uniform.
It might screw up the daily schedule if you come across as an enemy.

That is interesting. You are right about imagination. I often see shows and think "If only they had not done this or had done that it would have been great." Material is out there like crazy. But sometimes people don't see it or use it properly.

Sadler is at the northern gates of Tikrit. There are no guards in the guardposts. There is, however, a real big picture of Saddam which is going to have to come down.

Tikrit seems void of defenses! Brent Sadler at northern end of Tikrit..looking for bombing damage.see damage on one barracks..seems empty.I'll say this takes a bit of grit!He isn't in the town itself..at checkpoint with no guards.CNN
