Now Dari's at a loss for words (or got slapped, off-air)... She's reading prepared copy about "conditions under which they're living"...

I have never heard so many dumb questions and stupid comments in my life than these FOX correspondents are delivering. The General is really containing himself, though he unloads a couple scornful chuckles once in a while when answering these twits.

To: Dog
I am so embarressed with these two nitwits.

I hope the UN will not get involved. I would not wish my worst enemy under the care of the UN. The UN is only intrested in lining their own personal pockets with money. I don't mind so much if the UN takes other countries' money, and works as a humantarian force (truck drivers, clerks, doctors, etc.), but you are right that it is a bloated and corrupt bureaucracy.
The extent of US contribution to the corruption is up to our leadership. I give GWB credit for cutting the UN off at the knees respecting application of force to the Iraq problem.

AND DROP THE DANG BANNER Agreed. I was just thinking...they could just do a running thread (or whatever that is called) going in the opposite direction than the ticker tape thread. Oh dear, Dari just asked if this wasn't practice anymore. Ummmm...
To: Aaron0617
HOLY....
Gen: well that was an M-16
Dari: so that was from us?
To: Cboldt

The General is really containing himself He had a good laugh at Dari's expense just now -- she said, "So this is the real thing, now?" and he said, "Oh [ha-ha-ha] yes, this is the real thing!"

Now lets see,,CNN didn't think it odd that their reporters were going out with guns and firing but they had their knickers in a knot when Dr. Bob tried to save a child's life by doing surgery,,remember how they were all "conceerned" that he had gotten involved. I would say running around behind lines with armed security is more disturbing and not saving anyones life. They think ratings are more important than lives. God, I hate them, forgive me for being so hateful.
To: Dog
I think she picked that up from the general, who said something like, "This is battle drill, each man has a specific task he's trained to do in situations like this."
To: umbagi
This was in todays Chicago Tribune
''Critics say contracts open to cronyism'' in regards to rebuilding Iraq.
Of course there ain't no cronyism around Chicago is there?
