"We don't hold people responsible for the murder of another unless the person was actively participating, aiding, hiring, or conspiring with another to do so, except in very limited circumstances. One situation which would require legal intervevtion would be a psychiatrist who's patient said he was going to kill an identifiable person. In that case, he would have to take steps to prevent it."

I don't know..if a hospital worker KNOWS about malpractice, and fails to report it, and the patient dies, they are for sure held accountable..NOT criminally though. Civilly. I agree that it was out of the jurisdiction of our GOVT, BUT, a civil suit could possible be won against cnn..

One question to you all, and I'm looking for an honest, non-flame personal attack, if you are capable of doing that. A lot of you have taken potshots at me, but I don't believe that my view is that much different from yours. If you read all of my previous posts, you would have seen that. I agree that CNN should have reported all the atrocities that they knew about Saddam without compromising the lives of Iraqis.

Do you think the result you are seeking could have been accomplished simply by aggressively reporting all of the atrocities that happened to Iraqis that had immigrated to this country and have them tell us what Saddam did, or did Jordan have to tell us his story, which could have got Iraqis killed?
