On my local TV news tonight, a local family got a phone call from their son, who was wounded in Iraq. The TV camera was there when the call came in; they put it on speaker phone.

The parents asked how he got injured, and he said something like "it was really cool... I was looking eye to eye with the guy, and we both shot, I got hit in the shoulder... but I guess I had better aim."

The dad asks where did he get hit? The son says "In the forehead."

Thd dad starts laughing and says "Allllll right! Good job."

(As if it was a strike pitch at a baseball game... bizarre. But I know it was just a father's joy that his son was alive, and the story could have easily been reversed.)

That's agreat story...Speaking of that, there was an article on here a couple days ago where a Palestinian in Lebanon was lamenting how the Iraqis didn't appreciate him going to Iraq to fight on the side of the regime against the infidel americans...he complained because the Iraqis would as soon shoot him in the back as look at him.

At one point after a fight, the palestinian said he saw a pair of his fellow jihadists' corpses strewn about with bulletholes in the head.

Nice aim.
