"Alienating our allies" is their problem, not ours.

I'm sick of hearing, "we need to repair the rift with Europe"...let France, Germany, Belgium and Russia repair the rift with us.

Chuck Hagel is on saying we must repair the rifts..get the UN involved in reconstruction and we can trust France because we helped Saddam in the 80s after all. His Viet Nam experience lives on and colors his view.I of course don't agree with his view.
