Heard a reporter demand from a general the other day that since she's a hero we have the right to know more about what happened to her. I wanted to reach through the screen and punch that skunk's lights out.

I would've needed a new TV if I had heard that--but I would've also found out who asked that question and tracked the reporter down to let that reporter know that it is NONE OF HIS BUSINESS.

The sad fact is the male POWs have been subjected to much of the same treatment. But that information is glossed over. For heaven sakes, we're all like legos but with different connectors.

I make an effort to limit the time the TV is on. Every now and then I catch something worthwhile and memorable but at other times I feel dirty after watching the media.
