Did you hear Combover say they took down their Saddam portrait at the Iraqi mission?!!

So, NOW he wants freedom for the Iraqi people. I see!

As far as he could go, I thought he spoke ok. I saw he gave the CNN reporter a kiss!

No--I missed that specific reference. Funny, because Eric Shaun on Fox last night had the camera show that through the window the portrait was clearly visible. Al Douri must have gotten word that he hadn't distanced himself enough yet.

I would have liked to have seen Al Douri take it and whack it with his shoe, though.

This Red Cross woman who is on LKL seemed to be spewing propaganda to me. It says she's in Kuwait, yet she purported to say what conditions are like in Iraq in hospitals and fretted about POWS. I do believe her concern was for how the coalition is treating prisonsers.

First, I'll take the accounts of Dr. Bob Arnot, who is a doctor and reporter, IN Baghdad. And while some items were taken from hospitals he said the return to normalcy is very, very fast. He praised the Marines to the heavens for doing all they can and getting supplies and such. He said patients are getting great care. Do they need more? Yes. But the implication of her statement is it won't be attended to unless THEY oversee it. Well, it will and it is already underway.

Second, we are documenting all the time that we are taking care of the prisoners we have taken. By all means, let the Red Cross check it out. I resent the implication though, that we aren't. The concern should be for our troops that are missing or taken prisoner.
