"DAMMIT! They have no right to make us act ashamed of who we are. This is wrong on SO many levels. This makes me want to puke.

To plant a flag is symbolic of "conquering" and "occupation". We are just trying not to freak the entire arab world out. So many Iraqis are suspicious about our being there, that it is apparently necessary to tone it down alittle. I had mis-givings about having old glory gracing the head of a brutal, tyrannical dictator of the lowest form, so I'm not concerned that they took the flag off saddams head. (it should have been wrapped in a roll of bun-wad)

I understand the reasoning behind not flying it. But they're letting the lefties run them and now they're going to HIDE it. That's the message I'm getting. It's the same old PC crap. I say start flying it on the combat vehicles.
