This has been explained and makes sense. we do not want to take a hard line against people for non-violent crimes. We do not want them to fear us as they did Saddam. After a few days, things will settle down and the Iraqis will get themselves under control. Who cares if they clear out the bombed-out buildings? They're just going to be demolished, anyway.

The Russian Embassy is going to make like a roach motel: Iraqis we want come in, but they don't come out.

Whaht? You think a Texan president would set up a California? I think this could be the way to sell a federal state, because I bet you cash money that the Kurds have heard of Texas!!
LOL! No. I know President Bush wouldn't set up a California. Just knocking California.

Great Cartoon
Problem is those fools still think they are right. They will just back off a bit and look for the next opportunity to grab back power. They are nothing but dictator wannabe's.

Am watching the AbuDhabi TV webcam. They are showing more and more images and statues of Saddam being torn down. Showing looting. Some minor skirmishes amongst the locals. [I have no idea what they might be verbalizing, but they are showing seeming uncensored video.]

I love that cartoon! And there's Benedict Arnett skulking outside the cafe.

I agree. I believe that what you posted is verifiably true.

Watching CNN, Baghdad Bob's not so funny anymore. This journalist has been in Baghdad for years and is only now able to tell his story.
Seems Baghdad Bob told this journalist just last December that he was going to assasinate their jouranlists in their compound. The next day a plot was foiled with a truck full of explosives headed for their camp.
Henceforth he shall be known as Bad Baghdad Bob.

If they want to send out their reporters to fight it out with the pockets of resistance in Baghdad, the remaining Iraqi forces in Tikrit, the terrorist stronghold on the Syria-Iraqi border, and the suicide bombers looking for their next target they should feel free to do so. Then they'll whine about their guarantee of safety.

Well, he's in Gen. Brooks' deck of cards. Maybe he's the Jack of Spades.

Cute cartoon, except that Gephardt has been on the administration's side in the war effort. Pelosi would be a more appropriate replacement at the table.

After his speech to a Union Conference last week, I don't think Dickie G. is on any side other than his own. He knows his constituency is strongly behind Bush, so he goes along looking to the '04 elections. I guess coming along reluctantly is better than standing and whining though.
Daschle? Daschle? Tommy Daschle?

FoxNews showed a clip of a marine with a chisel and hammer. He was chipping off pieces of one of Saddam's downed statues and handed a piece to one of the other marines standing there. Looks like they are collecting souvenirs.
