I saw that video this morning, and Lester Holt asked the cameraman (David Green, I think - I believe he was Bloom's cameraman before he died) did the soldier shooting his shotgun from the stretcher hit what he was aiming at. The cameraman replied... "yes, both times".

ROFLMAO!!! That's the funniest rendition of the now famous sayings of Baghdad Bob I've ever heard in my life! A keeper and yep, there have been funny things to emerge from this war. A laff riot book of Baghdad Bob's witticisms would provide hours and hours of never-ending laughs.

Did you all just see on MSNBC of the wounded soldier being carried out on a stretcher and was still shooting at the enemy as he way laying down on the stretcher, the anchor asked the reporter who was filming it, if the soldier got what he was aiming at, and he replied "Oh yeah"! Then there was another wounded soldier who had a leg wound and a medic was working on him as the soldier was still standing and shooting. MSNBC will probably play it again.

For all who fought, who worried, who prayed, and who helped. In memory of those who gave all.
In celibration of the freed, and to be freed...

What 'maus said.
Bush is doing what he thinks is right -- and more than three out of four Americans agree with him. No "wag the dog" here... We're the "good guys" in this fight (and in this world), and no one has _any_ evidence to the contrary. Our (US, UK, Australians, Poles, Spaniards, and a few others') troops are laying it on the line for the freedom of others; that's unique, historic, and heroic, boys and girls!
If it were about oil, we wouldn't be rolling the dice on a new democratic government in Iraq -- we've been getting cheap oil in the ME for years, and it would have been even cheaper if we'd just lifted the sanctions on Iraq and let Saddam have his way for another 30+ years!

OIL INFO (for your liberal idiot aquaintences)
The US consumes 19 million barrels of oil a day.
Of that, 58%, or 11 million, are imported.
Of the 11 million:
Canada - 9.9%
Mexico - 7.9%
Saudi Arabia - 7.8%
Iraq - 2.2%
As to ANWR: the left wing liberal lie to attack that plan is "it's only a 6 months supply". That would be 3.42 Billion barrels.
Or 7.7 years supply from Saudi and Mexico. 38.7 years of Iraqi supply.
I'll take it.
