Let's hope we find our POWs soon!
And probably all kinds of other missing people in these dungeons...
To: texasbluebell
I heard that too. The other indication of prisoners underground was in Baghdad. This is Basra! Hope it is our POWs!

Ollie, although retired, should earn a medal. And I'll bet good money he picked up an M-16 a time or two while embedded.
He's 60? I hope I look that good at 60. Unfortunately, I'm close and don't think I'm going to hold up!
To: Jackie-O
Let's pray that our guys are down there and ready to be rescued!!!

I wonder if Scott Speicher will turn up too. Can you imagine being held all this time, if he's still alive?

"Joe Scarborough just played clips of Hollywood lefties and they're prognostications of doom and gloom. Played the clips for laughs."
Great idea for the radio. All conservative venues should run these all the time when this is over. Repetition will make it sink in!
To: texasbluebell
I fear he is not alive. I hope so. I hope we at least find his remains if he's not.
To: texasbluebell
Basra doesn't really make sense for POWs, though...

They have been on the radio. And many in print have done it. Go over to AndrewSullivan.com....he has reprinted dozens.
NRO has also (look at 4/10 postings).
And Fox News has shown some.
Never Forget!
To: cspackler
That's true.....I think the Brits had Basra surrounded by the time the helicopter pilots were taken prisoner.

Baghdad was the other place? Wasn't sure where. Haven't heard any more about that earlier report. So awful to think of the conditions these people must have been in--if they're our soldiers--even 3 weeks must have been an eternity.

I bet he wanted to and you are right, he probably did.

Bad conditions. Ollie reported the other day that he saw poverty like he's never seen. Even in Calcutta and other places.
In the middle of Baghdad, horrible, horrible poverty and squalor while surrouned by gov't luxury.
