HEADS UP
Lester Holt just said coming up will be an embedded reporter and his videos of what he witnessed.
I hope it is a replay of the interview I described earlier where the guy says how proud he was to be an American.
He had a lot more to say, of course, so I urge you to tune in if it's the reporter from National Geographic. (Not to be confused in any way shape or form with Arnett, formerly of same.)

" Michael O'Hanlon on O'Reilly is a wanker."
For months,NBC Nightly News has had on this poofy boy as an independent consultant. Many nights, I would scare my lovely bride and the old dog, by screaming at the tv,that Mikey was not an impartial consultant. He likes Clinton and Gen. Wesley Handwring and dislikes Rumsfeld.O'Reilly was at his most pontificating and bloviating worst tonight-glad to see he still has the good sense to consort with Col Hunt. A quick summation of NBC News tonight-military bad.

I wonder if the Iraqis with the sign actually observed any human shields wanking?
Nevermind, I don't wanna know.
BTW did ya notice the only people that didn't want to see US troops in Bagdad were the Ba'athists and the human shields?

I thought it was a new day for Russia. My thoughts continue to go back to the moment at Crawford High School. Maybe I'm naive but that day appeared to turn years of distrust and animosity into a viable working relationship. I never trusted Russia .. but Putin had a great chance of making a great friendship with the US
He still might .. and I say MIGHT have a chance
Putin made some poor choices regarding Iraq .. but the one thing I haven't heard him do is trash President Bush or the USA like France and Germany did

Ollie North- it is about to come to light how many countries that we thought were our friends have actually aided Iraq. Atropine injectors- Turkey. Small ammunitions from Jordan. Syria aiding in enemy troop movements. UN knowingly let the diversion of $$ from oil for food program. Sean Hannity saying we need to have a realignment of our allies.

I make an effort to limit the time the TV is on. Every now and then I catch something worthwhile and memorable but at other times I feel dirty after watching the media.

Yeah the support (ever growing) matters to the troops! I saw an embedded report in the first week of the war that the troops were asking about all of the protesting wankers back here..troops asking if they will be treated with the same hatred that the Nam Vets did. One soldier eve asked," do you think they"ll spit on us?" Yeah it matters tremendously!
And it matters to the families of our brave men and women back home here too. Our teeney little town had a "Support our Troops Rally" today. It was awesome! American flags, UK flags POW MIA flags, you name it. Everyone was there! Of course our town is made up of mostly Vets or families with loved ones serving. You should see our VFW on Fri. fish fry, you can't get near the place!
For the last 2 years our town has had a flag flown at every light post on US 30 and banners posted reading 'Home of Proud Americans" Yeah growing support matters!
It matters to me!

The only reason I say they were worse then was b/c they not only were in power, they had a strong grip on it, especially in the House. Now, if they took the House and Senate back now, possibly they would do the same thing, but hopefully that won't happen anytime soon.
