calling Saddam Hussein a miscreant

Wow, even that seems harsh. I'm not sure Jean Chretien would approve.

By the way, is there any plutonium that isn't weapons grade?

Those marines should be very careful on hygiene and wear dust masks. Even a clean, shielded, air-treated area were they can sleeep and allow the body to recover from the stress of nuclear shine. Get vitamins and dietary anti-oxidants to them. That rad stuff is long-term.

Quick some post this on DU.... I want to read the comments I can see it now: 1. Propaganda 2. Bush's fault 3. America gave it to him 4. Blah Blah Blah....

Ultimately they will say, "So what if Iraq has nukes, why should the US be the only country with them?"

You don't know what they can make in the areas under that plant. We made it in WWII in a stadium.

Anyone know how they detect one element as opposed to another? Would everything set off a geiger or neutron detector, or whatever it is they're using, in the same way?

Tomorrow, it will turn out that it was just an overcooked TV dinner.

Really cute with these stuttered starts/stops in her speech patterns. And sad eyes.

Worried eyes.

But definitely another FoxBabe.

That is Linda Vester, recently returned to the air after giving birth to a little girl. Linda, like most Fox gals, has beauty AND brains...

She is also the only anchor I've heard who pronounces arab names properly.

Er, all plutonium is "weapons grade."

Uranium must undergo isotope separation, which is hard. Plutonium from a breeder reactor can be separated from the low-grade Uranium via chemical means -- easy.

It's either China or Russia, for sure.

Putoo's KGB buddies trying to turn plutonium into consumer goods.

Let's not go crazy with this just yet. How many time have we been down the WMD road during the last 3 weeks only not to have them pan out.

I read somewhere that you can trace plutonium to the reactor where it was enriched. So we might find out where this plutonium came from very soon.

Look out, Kim Il Sung! We might have the boys stop by your place for a little prayer meeting on their way home to the States.

Well, the glow must have made it easier for the night games.

I think I'll wait for some kind of confirmation. May turn out to be radioactive material from some hospital x-ray machine.

She speaks Farsi fluently and I've heard her speak a little Arabic on the air. I think she majored in Middle East studies, or something like that.

At the very least, finding highly radioactive material would seem to show Hussein the makings of a radiological weapon.
