Sounds like a fun day!

Uhhuh, yep, that's what I figured would happen... So tell me, y'all, why are folks still saying "But when do we find WMD's and how do we know Bush et al. didn't plant 'em?!"

Anti-American protestors are inbread liberal Notsosmartso's.)
Actually, only anti-American protestors that are in bread, can be toast. :-)

"THEY ONLY SURVIVE BY LIES "Reagan would have agreed with you.
As do I.
You mind if I steal that for my tagline?

"...pathetic the UN inspectors were..."
Absolutely! But, today I heard that Rumsfeld, Powell, etc. knew that without our forces in there, the inspectors were impotent. The Iraqi's were very, very good at deception techniques with fake doors, walls, etc, and a fake "lab" sitting atop an underground real "lab".
So the entire UN effort was doomed really before it started.

Perhaps I should point out that
1. That building at Hanford, also referred to jocularly as the "Queen Mary," was just the tip of the iceberg. In addition, they needed the reactor buildings, water treatment plants, and so forth.
2. The Hanford reservation encompassed some 780 square miles. Of course, they were thinking expansively and, in the event conservatively, when they acquired this much land.
3. Hanford was strictly for the production of Plutonium, and was the facility that I was thinking of with regard to Plutonium when I made my original statement.

The real health danger (outside of a fission event of course) with plutonium is ingestion of particulates into the respiratory tract. Pu is primarily an alpha emmitter (plus some gamma as well). While alphas can be stopped with as little a barrier as a sheet of paper, when a dust particle is in say a lung, it's enough to cause cancers. Hopefully the troops in that place are using respirators or supplied air. I would also consider a thorough decon washdown when leaving the area.

No, but check out the link I posted and look around. You will find the most recent threats translated in the threads titled "Proper Arabic Translation, Post it Here" and "Casey," among others.

Another analysis method is gamma ray spectrum. Part of the decay energy (even for Pu) is in the form of gamma radiation. Scintillation detector connected to a multichannel analyzer would identify the peaks in the spectrum (measured in KeV's). Then check against standard references (Handbook of Chemistry and Physics).

I've never seen so much ego masturbation from one human being in my life.

My 14-year-old read BIAS too! And Bill Sammon's AT ANY COST and FIGHTING BACK, Barbara Olson's THE FINAL DAYS, Sean Hannity's LET FREEDOM RING, Howard Kurtz's SPIN CYCLE, and Gary Aldrich's UNLIMITED ACCESS.
My teen also reads a lot of fiction and says most of the above is as fascinating as anything a writer could make up :). I think BIAS and SLANDER in particular help a teen to become critical thinkers as they are exposed to the "mainstream media."
To: GOPrincess
Absolutely! My father gave me similar materials when I was that age. We still share books. I read little fiction, because of his influence..... give me a good political science or history book.
Critical thinking is what separates the conservatives from the "rats".

Linda Vester is the brightest star in the FOX constellation of very bright stars.
I absolutely love the expressivness of her face and there isn't an info babe anywhere that can compare with her smarts. She's a terrific interviewer - saw her interview... Colin Powell I think - she had him wound around her little finger! Very intelligent and penetrating questions!
She sure beats commie sympathizer Paula Zahn that they started with.

My mom on Klinton: "sex isn't a crime" My mom on my conservatism: "How did my only child turn into such a fanatical-rightwing-fascist?" My mom on the war: "I don't trust GW, he's an oil monger" My mom on Ann Coulter: "I hate that bitch" My mom on 2000 pres election: "Al Gore was robbed" My mom on Foxnews: "liars" LOL! You might want to start her on my personal 6-step program. Have her read, in the following order, these books (including ALL footnotes!):
1. How I Accidentally Joined the Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy (and found inner peace) by Harry Stein
2. The Ten Things You Can't Say in America by Larry Elder
3. The New Thought Police by Tammy Bruce
4. Uncivil Wars by David Horowitz
5. The Skeptical Environmentalist by Bjorn Lomborg
6. The Quest for Cosmic Justice by Thomas Sowell
All by avowed former leftists who saw the light and weren't afraid to step towards it. If your mother was involved in raising someone as smart as you, maybe there's hope for her yet!
