Last night I went to Willie Nelson's 70th b-day celebration at the Beacon Theatre. The show was really great - Norah Jones, Eric Clapton, Ray Charles, Kris Kristofferson, etc. performed. There were also announcers/presenters such as Robert DeNiro, Ethan Hawke, Whoopi Goldberg and Ali McGraw.
However, the showstopper was when the MC announced the name William Jefferson Clinton.........OHHHH my.... the crowd went wild with a mixture of applause and boo-ings(is that a word). It was really bad, almost too much.
He could hardly get a word in above the jeers from the crowd. I was going to call you just so you could hear it but didn't have your # in my new cell's memory.
Just wanted to share the story. By the way the show will be on the USA channel Memorial Day.

Clinton puts the squeeze on Willie. "Aw come on, Willie, I know you have some stuff in your dressing room. I'll bring in some wimmen, we'll party ..."

Not surprised to see Whoopi Goldberg and Clinton at the same event.

I'll bet Kris Kristofferson was biting his tongue, inless he has done a 180. He is a huge liberal.
To: Greg Luzinski
This must have saddened Whopi Goldberg.

Now aren't we polite....it's about time that public disdain for the former President be notarized - New York Times headlined this I'm certain. Maybe he'll decline future concerts. When this is aired, will we hear the true soundtrack...I doubt it!

Greg,
Can you ask your friend the make up of the crowd. Since NY is so liberal I figured the crowd would be made up of mostly liberal but Ron KUBY, trying to save BJClinton on WABC radio this morning said that a Willie Nelson crowd would be mostly right of center. I did not agree and especially now seeing who the other guests were.
I would like to correct KUBY on this matter.
Thankyou

By the way the show will be on the USA channel Memorial Day. Rest assured that the booing of Bubba will have been digitally removed before the program is ever broadcast on TV. They will probably add in some cheering and a few Cherubs sprinkling rose petals by the time they are done.

I see they're still patching his nose together with wire, tape and makeup to keep it from falling off.

Good news.
I heard a news commentator named Ruddy on talk radio yesterday. He is from Newsmax. He said one of the reasons the Iraqi propagandists coninued to broadcast information after their communications centers appeared to be destroyed was because they received "redundant fiber-optic cable communications systems" (????) from the Red Chinese, our trade partners. Apparently the Red Chinese received these sophisticated communications systems from William Jefferson Clinton after he was elected President. Ruddy also said something about Chinese Silkworm and Searsucker (??spelling) missiles being able to evade our Patriot Missiles.
I wonder if the Red Chinese were able to use American sophisticated communications equipment to design missiles which were able to evade our own.
