As my wife is fond of saying, we are the nicest, kindest country on the planet. We'll give your the shirt off our backs.
But if you tick us off or cross us, we'll kick your a$$.

Yeah, where is the Oreilly show tonight? He has been in Miami all week, is he on vacation?

Remember those documents that purported to show Iraq had tried to acquire uranium from Niger but turned out to be fraudulent? The Washington Post's David Ignatius has an intriguing account of their provenance from unnamed "Western intelligence officials":
The intelligence officials offered a tantalizing coda for conspiracy-mongers. They said the "crude forgery" received by U.N. weapons inspectors suggesting the Iraqis were trying to buy uranium from Niger as part of their nuclear program was originally put in intelligence channels by France. The officials wouldn't speculate on French motives.

Don't know. Said he escaped the snow in NY. Didn't hear anything about not being on or going on vacation last night.

Hey all, Another cool day from what I've heard so far today. I've been out of pocket for the most part, but I did see where there was some uprising in Mosul, possible mobile lab found, possible plutonium found, and Geraldo is back with the boys.
I'm glad he's back. He pumps up the troops and helps them with morale.

Quick question. Is this former exiled guy that was killed today the same man Fox did a piece on yesterday??

Don't know about the special, but I know he was well respected in Iraq and we had high hopes for him.

Arab Street Whining and Sour Grapes Russians Grumbling [My title :)]As they digested the news of Baghdad's unexpectedly swift fall on Thursday, and watched TV replays of Saddam Hussein's statue toppled by a US Marine tank recovery vehicle, many Arabs saw not the dusk of Iraqi dictatorship, but the dawn of a frightening new world. "This represents what is really happening," said a commentator on the Al Jazeera television network, watched by millions in the region, as an American soldier wrapped the Stars and Stripes around Saddam Hussein's face.
"Everything that happens in Iraq now will have an American flavor and smell."
That American flavor and smell is called L-I-B-E-R-T-Y. It's what's for dinner.

That's right, we treat people as we are treated.

This is very suspicious, they aren't even mentioning why this show has pre-empted Oreilly.

There is some great stuff over at AndrewSullivan.com and NationalReview.com concerning all the silly predictions by the naysayers on the left (and right) concerning the war to liberate Iraq.
Now that they have been totally discredited and wrong, they are trying the same ploy to see if they can now lose the peace.
Disgusting creatures all. I would hope, but doubt, their total stupidity gets them fired. I know that won't happen so I hope people stop buying their rags.

They read that quote on the radio this morning. I thought, "America has a smell?" As someone pointed out earlier, that's pretty rich coming from the land of open sewers. Maybe it's because I'm in the Chicago area but I think if America has a smell it's probably like pizza.

I wish there was some way we could just pick up Iraq and move it to a nicer neighborhood. :(
